Tundish refractory coating is a kind of fluid paste material with similar material size and liquid quality to refractory mud, which is used as working liner or protective liner on the surface of refractory liner. Also known as liquid steel "clean" refractory paint, mainly used for continuous casting tundish working lining of alkaline magnesia calcium refractory paint.

 

Tundish refractory coating features:

 

Can purify molten steel, in general, the higher the CaO content in the paint, the better the purification effect. It has good ductility, small yield value, easy construction, and can be manually applied or mechanically sprayed.

 

Life cycle of tundish coating:

 

Related to the number of coating layers, the general coating thickness is 35 ~ 40mm, the number of continuous casting furnaces is 8 ~ 10 times, and the thickness of 40 ~ 60mm is more than 10 times.
